Submitted by Anonymous on Fri, 08/20/2010 - 11:19amGirls Camp was amazing this year!!! Our stake theme was "Becoming One" and each ward was to choose a 'becoming' theme. We chose "Becoming His" and our symbol was a garden. One leader made darling journals for each girl with quotes, pictures, scriptures, and thoughts for each day of camp as each day had it's own flower, garden, and purpose. The daily tivodevo (devotional- stop what you are doing- like tivo) followed the daily theme. For example, Tuesday's flower was a daisy and the theme was purity. There was a matching flower arrangement for each day and flower everything for the week- aprons, tablecloths, hairpins, pens, bags, treats, cooking/ cleaning teams names, cabin names, decorations, and pockets for tree mail. HELP!!! I am new to this site
HELP!!! I am new to this site and really need your help I was called to present a workshop at our young women's conference , I was asked to teach level one (I am assuming this is first years) how to purify water, storing and preparing food outside level 2 & 3 ( I got that one easy enough). the last one is the hardest it is identifying edible and poisonous plants level 2 I would appreciate any ideas thank you so much

You could also call the local county extension office. It's very likely they have already created information relating to this topic for your area. You can also contact the Scoutmaster of local Boy Scout troop to see if he knows other resources.

I'm new to this site, I need help finding activities for the mia maids, I'm sure you can tell i'm new to the position as well, I need skit for camp, and good positive poems to strenghen their self esteem and where to find fun good activities to do with them, my girls get bored pretty fast, please I need all the suggestion to make this experience a memorable success, any ideas you have would be greatly appreciated.
